Oh wow… this has been quite a rollercoaster.
I am just about to push the big button for my website to go live… and I am feeling a total mix of excitement and fear. I am excited that I no longer have to be building the website (an experience which can only equate to when you are searching for a dress for an event but you can’t find the one that ticks all your boxes), but it is scary. This is my big chance.
Getting to this point has been pretty intense. I was working as a teacher and a curriculum coordinator in a school in Italy but many things happened and I had to get out of there…
I have always loved writing and my life plan had been to teach during the day and write by night… little did I know that after a day in a classroom, night just became a state of vegging on the sofa and trying to keep my eyes open past 7.30pm.
So that’s what has brought me here now. This is my chance. This is my opportunity. I am going to be a writer. I am a writer. Or really, I am a typer. Does anyone else’s hand get sore if they hold a pen for too long?
Anyway, the time has come to push that button.
